summer (lets drink in the colour and heat!)
I have never been more ready for summer; to drink in its warmth, to absorb its bright colours, to listen to the laughter of strangers over a glass of something cold (and pink!)
I am so excited by the small things; a new bright lipstick which is finally worth buying now that we are finally going to share each others smiles again! I crave the joy of vibrant colours, so full of life and energy its practically impossible to feel flat in their presence.
This is a time of re-emergence and positivity, and I want to celebrate it in all that I surround myself with, to feel fully alive after months of being moth-balled, with our senses numbed, I want to feel more present to make up for lost time.
In this heady state of optimism and celebration I wanted the store to reflect some of this energy, and so over the coming weeks we will be introducing subtle (and not so subtle) pockets of colour and pattern, to show how you can bring the same positivity into your home.
We are perhaps more used to seasonal updates for our wardrobes than our homes, but I love the idea that our home reflects the changing seasons and mood too.
So we will be adding some shots of hot mustard and raspberry with dried flowers, some colour clash textiles with graphic cushions as well as softer tones of pale pink and banana in throws and textiles, vivid orange glasses and carafes ready to be filled with summer cocktails.
